"I was born and raised in Ukraine. I graduated from Ukranian National Medical University Kiev, Ukraine with a license to practice general dentistry in 1996.
I moved to the United States in 1999 and in 2000 entered the Advanced Standing program at Tufts University Dental School. Graduated in 2002 and entered the postgraduate Periodontology program the same year. I graduated in 2005 with my Certificate in Periodontology and got board certified in May 2006 with a title of Diplomate of American Academy of Periodontology. I moved to Williamstown, MA in 2008, to join Dr. William Guild's practice.
I purchased this practice one year later. I really enjoy living in the three state corner paradise. I absolutely love the beautiful nature and the bright seasons, outdoor activities, lack of traffic, friendliness and appreciation of patients and fellow human beings. I am inspired by the support of my staff and friends, the exuberance of my children and the relative simplicity of this rural life. When I am not playing with my two children, Amelia and Daniel, I relax by doing yoga, hiking, and playing the violin."

"I still feel as passionate today about my work and taking care of my patients as I did when my career first began over 30 years ago. After receiving my dental degree at Tufts School of Dental Medicine and accepting an internship and residency in Periodontics at the University of Connecticut Health Center, I returned to New York City to open my practice. It was an exciting time to enter my field as I was one of the first periodontists to begin placing implants and utilizing the advanced techniques that were being developed. Although I was in full-time practice, I shared what I was learning through my association with NYU Dental School as an assistant clinical professor, being a lecturer at Mt. Sinai Medical School, and later becoming involved with the dental residents at Beth Israel Hospital as head of the Department of Periodontics.
In addition, I lectured at national meetings as well as presenting courses for local dental societies. After many years, a different kind of lifestyle called to me and 17 years ago I decided to relocate to Bennington, Vermont. I had always loved spending time in Vermont and the Berkshires and moving here was a dream come true. Being able to practice state of the art periodontics with a talented staff and within a community of dedicated dentists has been very satisfying.
As the practice grew, after much searching, I was fortunate to find Dr. Kateryna Latypova to join me. Together we feel honored to help take an active part in providing health care to our community."
